Lewis Carroll, born Charles Lutwidge Dodson was born in England at Daresbury, Cheshire, to Charles Dodgson, an Anglican clergyman, and his wife Frances Jane Lutwidge on January 27, 1832. George Wells was a well known motion picture screenwriter and producer. Wells was born in New York City in 1909 and educated at New York University. He wrote the screenplays for a number of movies between the 1940s and 1970s, including "Merton of the Movies" (1947), "Designing Woman" (1957), "Where the Boys Are" (1960), and "Cover Me Babe" (1970).
